Soccability

“Coaching players first”

Soccability is an adapted soccer program that offers coaching opportunities for all. Whether players have a physical or neuro-diverse impairment, we wish to provide them with a sports participation experience that keeps them coming back for more.

There are vairous programs across the country that affiliate with Soccability Canada, who provides advocacy and development opportunities for clubs seeking to provide inclusive opportunities within their club system. SOCCABILTY PROGRAMS IN ALBERTA

SOCCABILTY CALGARY

Soccability is an adapted soccer program for all players regardless of their impairment, whether this may be physical or neurodiverse, we have a welcome for you.

The program is led by John Clubb the Technical Director at Eastside Memorial FC, who has over 40 years coaching experience in coaching and adapted sports coaching. Players are welcome to come and try us for their first session and bring a buddy. Each session lasts one hour and the key to it’s success is it meets the players where they are at, not the game first.

GOALGETTERS: CP PLAYER PATHWAY

This program is for individuals with Cerebral Palsy or brain injury. The rationale is to develop the first impairment specific pathway for players to elevate their performance. Again, players are met and coached to meet their physical challenges and enhance their performance to be the best player they can be.

The program is a collaboration between CP Kids, Calgary Minor Soccer Association and head coach John Clubb.

EDMONTON PROGRAMS: SWEMSA soccer offer an adapted program in Edmonton that caters for pan-disability players. Full details of the program are available through the following link
